The image editing performance pretty much keeps up with the other boards tested - it's only five seconds, or just one per cent off the fastest time here.
Handbrake H.264 Encoding
Website: HandBrake
Our test uses HandBrake - an open-source, GPL-licensed, multi-platform, multi-threaded video transcoder, available for MacOS X, Linux and Windows - to encode a high resolution MPEG-2 video using the H.264 codec. This primarily tests multi-threaded CPU and memory subsystem performance.

The video encoding performance is pretty dismal though, with a five per cent drop compared to the MSI, affording a notable 30 second gap between the two boards. The lack of raw memory performance we showed previously is likely part of the problem here.

In multi-tasking things are looking up though, with a second drop compared to the Gigabyte that leads the field, however the difference between all boards is only a few seconds.
